Orchard Trail Ride

Experience the beauty of our Orchard Trail, perfect for beginners or families with young children. The adventure begins with 30 minutes of pre-ride instruction, ensuring everyone is comfortable and confident. Then, enjoy a 60-minute outride through stunning surroundings. This trail is designed to provide a wonderful first-time experience, focusing on proper horse handling and, if you’re ready, introducing you to your first trot. Join us for a memorable horseback adventure!

The Bosman Frame House Trail

Nestled among aromatic fynbos, mountains, and fertile soil, the Bosman Frame House is the perfect getaway. Enjoy a leisurely horseback stroll for beginners or an exhilarating ride for experienced guests. Afterward, savor a wine tasting on the deck or a light meal for two, promising a delightful and memorable experience. The adventure includes 20-30 minutes of pre-ride instruction followed by a 2-hour trail and wine tasting.

Sea Kayaking

Explore the magic of our unique coastline with its abundant marine life up close and personal in one of our stable kayaks in the company of an experienced guide. Glide across sparkling water while enjoying a view of the majestic mountain, sea cliffs, and marine life. On our tours, you will enjoy sightings of Cape fur seals, penguins, cormorants, and other sea birds and marine mammals. Whatever time of year this is an experience not to be missed.

Maximum Weight: Double kayak is 220kg the single kayak is 120kg.

WINE TASTING TOUR

Start your trip with a walk through the golf course to the launching area where the guide will meet you. The guide will then do a safety briefing and lead
the tour of the lagoon.

ABALONE TOUR AND TASTING

Meet up with your tour guide at the Heart Shed in the New Harbour of Hermanus. Sit back and relax while you learn about the history of abalone in South Africa and Hermanus’ Walker Bay area. Boot-up for a guided walk to experience the aquaculture industry of abalone farming firsthand on one of the oldest and largest abalone farms in South Africa, Abagold. Visit Abagold’s state-of-the-art abalone hatchery where broodstock is cared for and baby abalone (spats) are produced. Experience the farming activities of feeding, tank cleaning, and sorting of the abalone firsthand.

Guided Cycling

Experience the splendor of the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley Cycling Tour. Enjoy fantastic views, spectacular mountains, and a landscape surrounded by wine farms and vineyards. This unforgettable cycling experience immerses you in the wonderful sights, smells, and sounds of nature. It’s a thrilling and active way to explore the beauty of the valley.

Whale Walking Tour

Meet up with your tour guide at Gearings Point where you will visit The Whale House museum which houses a suspended whale skeleton and whale exhibition. Learn all about the history and habitat of these beautiful creatures. Thereafter you will take a walk along the cliff path to meet up with the world’s only Whale Crier for an informative talk on the whales and try to look for a few from the cliffs. Hermanus is probably the best land-based whale-watching destination in the world. If you are going to see the whales from the shore, this is the best spot to do so. We will then grab some ice cream along the way and walk a section of the Cliff path back to Gearings Point to admire the beautiful statues made by local artists before heading back home.

Sunset Cruise

Join us for an exquisite sunset cruise at the harbour in Hermanus. The cruises are 2 hours and you can meet the crew on the quayside for your Sunset Cruise. The time of departure and area of the cruise depends on the season and sunset times where we will head out and follow the coastline into the sunset. On the Majestic, you can enjoy a glass of wine or Bubbly on the top deck, or up front on the spacious bow of the boat. The crew will gladly take photographs of you and your friends/family whilst the awesome summer sun sets behind you. You will receive a complimentary glass of wine, beer, or a cold drink as well as snacks. Please feel free to request some lovely food of your choice for your family or friends to be on the Sunset Cruise in Hermanus.

Reef Fishing

The boat is well equipped with some of the best equipment and fish finders, helping in locating the species found around certain reefs in different areas within walker bay.

You meet up at Hermanus New Harbour at 7am where you will be greeted by the skipper and crew. Any fish caught may be taken home by the clients for their enjoyment.

This is a great holiday experience for the whole family, whether you are fishing or just joining the party. On this trip you are likely to see marine wild life.

Whale Watching

The Southern Right Whales visit our shores from June to November before migrating back to Antarctica. Spectacular sightings are possible from the boats to observe these mammals at close quarters. Refreshments bar on board – No alcohol is permitted on the whale watching trips as per permit regulations, however, the bae is licensed and fully stocked for scenic and private cruises out of whale season.

Dress Code: Comfortable shoes, warm jacket and remember to take seasickness tablets.

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the boat departure time.
